For being a celebrity, controversial US-based rapper, Darlington Okoye aka Speed Darlington has said he has to be paid.

Speed, speaking with Nedu and the others on the ‘Honest Bunch Podcast’, presented ‘mind-joggling’ questions to affirm his stance.

“I think I should be paid for being a celebrity,” self-acclaimed ‘Irregular speedometer,” stated.

But Nedu and the others disagreed with him while insisting he chose to be a celebrity and no one had business paying him for that, especially not his fans.

One of the hosts suggested when a celebrity acts snubbish toward fans, in a short time, he’ll stop being called for events but Speed vehemently disagreed with their point.

He argued: “If you really want meatpie, you’ll eat meatpie whether it’s hot or cold. If you don’t eat it, you’re not hungry yet.”
