A loan app operating in Nigeria is alleged to have accused a young man of raping and killing a minor over N14K debt.
A Twitter user @jennipheruwa took to the platform to express shock after a friend was tagged a rapist and killer for not fulfilling his debt to the loan shark.

According to Jennipher, the loan app circulated fliers indicating the search for the individual whom they accused of defiling and murdering a minor.
“Stay clear of these loan apps please. I just saw a flyer of my friend, he was accused of raping & killing a 5 year old. I called immediately to confirm, he debunked and said it’s from a loan app he’s owing 14k!!!!!,” she tweeted.
