Former OAP, Daddy Freeze has condemned the dripping of fecal waste (excrement) from trucks carrying soakaway.
He explained such distasteful sight should never be seen in a state like Lagos, arguing a thing like that would never be seen in the western or any civilised part of the world.
He educated the people about the dangers of trucks drippping with soakaway water on the streets, stating its one major cause of typhoid.
Daddy Freeze gave a vivid illustration on how fecal waste migrate into people’s living spaces, urging the stakeholders of septic waste trucks to be more mindful of people’s health and wellbeing by being even more sanitary in their business.
The popular media personality insisted it was the responsibility of every citizen to mind and protect each other’s health.

Driving behind a soakaway-dripping truck, Daddy Freeze said: “It cannot be well for us in the country o if we continue like this. No be soakaway water be this abi na me no dey see well?
“Why is soakaway water dripping on the road? Nigeria! Nigeria!! Make una see am o! Soakaway truck dey drip soakaway water for road. Is this hygienic? Is this right? Na wah o!
“I dey always get typhoid! I dey always get typhoid!! No be better thing o!! E mean say you dey chop poo. If Dem never tell you before, me I dey tell you now. If you dey get typhoid regularly, e mean say you dey chop poo.
“And a lot of you would wonder how? Una go waka for this road. When una waka for this road finish, una go come go house with your shoes. Una go wear una shoes enter bedroom, spreading the fecal matter everywhere you’re going.
This is not right. This is Lagos State. This is not some village in Ogbomoso or Ikirun. This is Lagos State. We can do better than have trucks like this moving on the streets. It’s so unsanitary.
“I don’t know of you see this done in the western world. I don’t even believe this can happen in any civilised part of the world. But hey?! Na Naija we dey.
“So, guys please, if that’s your business, make it sanitary and safe. You cannot just be driving on the road and dripping soakaway water. And if we talk now, una go begin dey vex for us.
“This thing wey we see now, e make sense to you? If e no make sense to you, e no make sense be that. Let’s hold ourselves accountable as Nigerians. We can do better!”
