A commercial motorcyclist, Niyiseun Oluwadare, who arranged robbers to rob his passenger of N1.2million, has said he got only N20,000 from the loot.
Oluwadare said he angrily notified the police when his accomplices failed to pay the agreed balance of N380,000 into his account.
The suspect said he had known the passenger for many years, adding that he was taking her to the market to buy some wares when the gang he arranged blocked them with guns and collected the money from her.
Oluwadare was paraded alongside other suspects arrested for cultism, internet fraud and other offences.
According to the father of three, ”I have been taking the woman to the market every five days and I knew she had huge amount of money.

“Sometimes, when she does not have time to go, she would call on me and give me money to get the items for her. She usually gave me N1million to take to the market for her.
“On that fateful day, I planned with one of the boys that issued tickets along Idanre road to carry out an attack on the woman, so as to collect the N1.2m.
“We were three in number but the third person ran away. I was given only N20,000. I asked for the balance and they are yet to pay it. He gave me the money while I was with the police. My share is remaining N380,000.”
But his accomplice, Lomi Aderibigbe, denied participating in the robbery operation.
Also paraded was a 20-year old cashier at KFC, Akure, Uchenna Emmanuel, who allegedly used a customer’s ATM card to buy food worth over N30,000.
Emmanuel confessed that he found the ATM card and inserted his PIN to purchase food.
He said it was complaints by the customer that led to his arrest.
“I mistakenly used the customer’s Opay card to buy things from the company. I thought it was my card. The manager later found the card with me and I was sacked immediately.
“They asked me how I knew the customer’s pin, I said I used my pin. They brought other Opay POS and the time approved. A policeman also tried his Opay ATM and it cashed out. I used the card five times.”
Another suspect, Sulaiman Ayuba, who has been on police wanted list for murder was also paraded.
Ondo Police spokesman, SP Fumilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, said Oluwadare was arrested after he could not give satisfactory answers to police investigators.
She said the suspects would soon be charged to court.
