Carl Froch says Anthony Joshua is calling him out on WhatsApp – but deleting the messages before he can respond.
Froch has held nothing back with his opinion of AJ in the build-up to his upcoming clash with Dillian Whyte.
The former super-middleweight world champion believes that Joshua needs to stop blaming others for his defeats after he claimed that he wasted the peak years of his career under former coach Rob McCracken.
And he told his YouTube channel last week that Joshua should retire if he loses to Whyte.

The comments appear to have got to Joshua, who has sent messages on WhatsApp to Froch – but deleted them before he could get a response.
Speaking at a World Series of Poker and GG Poker event, Froch said: “I have no personal animosity with him, but when I speak on my channel – Froch on Fighting, it’s the best YouTube channel out there – I just try to be honest.
“I say what the fans are thinking and sometimes it hurts people. They know the truth hurts.
“I have had three or four messages from AJ, but he has deleted them before I could see them on WhatsApp. That’s a true story.”
Froch believes that Joshua needs to show more respect to his former coach Rob McCracken after some choice words following their parting.
“He recently parted company with Rob McCracken which I have got no problem with at all,” he said.
“But when he starts saying things like he has wasted his best years with Rob McCracken and he’s got to make up for lost time, I think come on, he took you to Olympic gold, he took you to multiple world titles which you defended.
“You didn’t win it all; you lost to Ruiz and lost the rematch to Usyk with your new coach. Have some respect.”
