Marvel Natural Products Plc, a pharmaceutical company has launched a herbal drug, “Rida Restore”.
Chief Executive Officer of the firm, Temitope Akinyemi, a pharmacist, noted that the product was formulated for women.
He said it represents a significant milestone for the company.
According to her, the drug is designed to revolutionise and enhance women’s overall wellness, with its remarkable functional benefits, ranging from restoring hormonal balance to promoting reproductive health and comfort, adding that it addresses menstrual anomalies, and enhances libido, among other things.

She said over 100 babies have been born by reason of the use of the drug, especially for delayed conception caused by hormonal imbalances.
Keynote Speaker, Dr. Uzoma Otutoaja, Medical Director of St. Everest Hospital and Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at St. Raphael PresbyterianSpecialist hospital, both in Ikorodu, Lagos State ,spoke about hormonal imbalances and its effect on the overall female health.
Quoting research sources, the keynote speaker as well as Ogungbe, a pharmacist, Dr Aina, Dr Erekosima, Dr Ogunmola, among several health professionals confirmed that hormonal imbalance is the cause of several cases of infertility.
Dr Aina emphasized the role of oxidative stress in general ill-health, including female health and the role of the RIDA products in handling them, because of their strong antioxidant properties.
Dr Uzoma mentioned lifestyle changes, dieting, reduction of stress level, medical visits/surgery (in extreme cases) and natural supplements like Rida Restore as some of the solutions and treatments that are valuable for hormonal imbalances.
