President of the Nigeria Association for physical,Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance, Professor Florence Bola Adeyanju on behalf the national executive members and members of the association worldwide lauded the appointment of the new Minister of Sports Senator John Enoh by the president of Nigeria,,Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Professor Adeyanju who expressed optimism that the 36th Minister of Sports in Nigeria will perform if given necessary supports by the government and other stakeholders and assured him of the maximum cooperation and support of members of the noble association( NAPHER-SD) who are experts and technocrats in the management and administration of sports.

The President of the Nigeria Association for physical, Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance used the opportunity to suggest to the minister to expedite presidential accent of the bill on the return of the national sports commission.
Similarly, the Director-General of National Institute for Sports, Professor Olawale Moronkola, has hailed the appointment of the new Minister of Sports .
According to Professor Moronkola :” I commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu choice of Senator John Enoh as the new Minister of Sports. This shows that the President places high premium on Sports.
“ I believe the new Sports Minister will continue with the legacy left behind by Mr Sunday Dare. He has alot to take away from the former Minister since government is a continuum.
“ We are confident that the new Minister will bring his vast experience in both public and private business to bear on the Ministry. We are excited by his appointment and look forward to working with him to consolidate on what we have done by building on the legacies of the Former Minister Mr. Sunday Dare.
“We hope and pray that he would initiate policies to improve what had been done. We are ready to support him and confident that his tenure will herald a good direction for Nigerian Sports “
House Committee Chairman on Sports congratulates Minister
The House Committee Chairman on Sports, Honourable Ekene Abubakar Adams, has congratulated the newly appointed Minister of Sports, Senator John Enoh, saying his vast experience will help the sector to grow.
According to Hon. Ekene “Let me heartily congratulate the new Sports Minister Senator John Enoh, on his well deserved appointment by Mr President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. His trajectory as a foremost lawmaker who had served in the the Senate will be a huge advantage to the accomplishment of his new assignment. As a former lawmaker he understands the dynamics of every sector, so I believe he will hit the ground running.”
The Member Representing Chikun/ Kajuru Federal Constituency assured that his Committee along with the Senate counterparts will work in harmony with the new Minister to chart a new direction for Nigerian Sports.

Enoh is Nigeria’s 36th Sports Minister and succeeds Sunday Dare who served for four years under former President Muhammadu Buhari.
