Ezeaku appointed Rangers’ General Manager

Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has approved the appointment of Amobi Paulinus Ezeaku, as the Chief Executive Officer/General Manager of Rangers International Football Club of Enugu.

The appointment was made known in a statement by the Media and Communications Officer of the Flying Antelopes, Nobert Okolie.

Okolie said the appointment which takes immediate effect in a release dated Wednesday, August 23, by the Secretary to Enugu State Government, Professor Chidiebere Onyia, who had 12 other appointees into various boards and parastaltas in the state.

Ezeaku, a lawyer who just returned to the country after completing his studies and earning UEFA and FIFA Masters certificates in club management, was the club’s team manager when they won the NPFL and Aiteo Cups in 2016 and 2018 after three decades of waiting.

His appointment is seen by many fans of the seven-time Nigerian league champions as one that will help return the club to its past reputation as one of the top clubs in Nigeria and Africa.
