Reps member expresses commitment to serve constituents

Member representing Aguta Federal Constituency of Anambra State in the House of Representatives, Engr Dominic Okafor, has expressed his commitment to serving the interest of his people.

He said this on the heels of the Tribunal judgement which affirmed his election as a member of the House.

Okafor is a member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

He thanked God for choosing him through the votes of the people of Aguata Federal Constituency.

He appreciated his constituents who elected him at the polls and pledged his commitment to serve their interests.

“I thank the good people of Aguata Federal Constituency for giving me their mandate and I renew my commitment to bring home dividends of democracy that accrue to them,” he said.

The election petition tribunal sitting in Awka, Anambra State had dismissed the petitions filed against Okafor by the candidates of the Labour Party (LP), Chief Andy Azike, and All Progressives Congress (APC), High Chief Engr Johnbosco Onunkwor.

Okafor enjoined his political opponents to join him to move Aguata Federal Constituency to greater heights.
