Siochanta Nigeria Limited, a pioneer Vitafoam Comfort Centre operator, is targeting a turnover of N1 billion as it marks 10 years of operation.
The firm may also entered into new partnership with Vitafoam Nigeria Plc to managing strategic comfort centres for Vitafoam’s products.
Siochanta rewarded its pioneer staff for exceptional contributions to the growth and development of the company as part of activities for its 10th anniversary.
Speaking at the anniversary in Lagos, Chairman, Siochanta Nigeria Limited, Mr Peter Folikwe explained that Siochanta had strong capacity to promote Vitafoam’s Comfort Centres, which are full of innovative products.
Folikwe appreciated the support of Vitafoam on the idea of the Comfort Center and stated that it was a legacy that had passed through many trying periods to become a success story within 10 years.

“Our existence for 10 years has become a legacy for comfort Centres. We operate responsibly and our books are in order. We are willing to partner with Vitafoam to manage its Comfort Centres in strategic parts of Nigeria. We have the capacity to promote the brand. We have grown our turnover significantly from N85.5 million in 2018 to N349.9 million as at August this year and we are most likely to close out the year with no less than N370 million. Our target is to hit a turnover of N1 billion in the next couple of years. Our Staff operate as a team and this has continued to give us competitive edge. Today, we are celebrating our pioneer staff,” Folikwe said.
Immediate past chairman, Vitafoam Nigeria Plc, Dr Dele Makanjuola , commended Siochanta for the giant stride, saying the idea of Vitafoam’s Comfort Centres was that of Folikwe.
“Folikwe initiated and defended the idea of Comfort Centres at the board when he was a senior executive staff at Vitafoam. I know that Vitafoam will not hesitate to work with Siochanta on expanding the scope of the centres nationwide. Folikwe has demonstrated that a staff can still add value after leaving an organisation,” Makanjukola said.
Corroborating him, Vitafoam’s Group Managing Director, Mr Taiwo Adeniyi also commended Folikwe.
He explained that Vitafoam’s board would endorse the company’s partnership with Siochanta on comfort centres as long as they can see the value.
Long service awards were presented to four staff of Siochanta: Mrs Sandra Idowu received award for 10-year service, Ifeanyi Ineh, eight-year and Benjamin Okororie, and Donald Inja, five-year respectively.
Speaking on behalf of other awardee, Idowu explained that they were all passionate and operated as family members. She noted that the company created an atmosphere where every staff could operate optimally.
The event was attended by the entire executive board members of Vitafoam, spouses of awardees and dignitaries from the public and private sector.
Siochanta, popularly called The Vitafoam Place manages comfort centres in and around the highbrow Lekki neighbourhood to meet customer sleep comfort solutions.
