Organisers of the ongoing SFFL Showtime Coed Flag Football League said it is happy with the turnout of spectators as the league enters the third week on Sunday.
According to the league commissioner Adejumo Adebare, the league tagged ‘Showtime Sunday’ holds at Meadow Hall School, is also geared towards promoting flag football sport and engaging youths to be more productive in society through sports.
“The league has over 50 men and women’s players, representing different clubs sides in the league and officiating has been at top notch.”

Spartans top the league log with 56 points. Other teams in the league are Titans, Warriors, Dragons, LA Flag, Mavericks, Raptors, Outlaws, Panthers and Rebels.
He added; “The ongoing SFFL Coed Flag Football League which holds every Sunday has been entertaining and exciting. Teams work hard every match day to win their games. I am delighted that flag football is attracting more youths and club owners are working round the clock to to raise the level of their games. The turnout of spectators on every match day indicates the sport has gotten more followership. Our focus is to keep providing the platform for youths to horn their skill in flag football. The awareness of the sport through the SFFL league has been alarming.”
