The candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Saturday, November 11, Kogi state governorship election, Leke Abejide won in his Yagba East local government area
According to the result officially declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Abejide was declared the winner having polled 7,453 votes.
The APC candidate, Ahmed Ododo polled 7,096 votes, PDP got 2,615 votes while SDP scored 312 votes.

Accredited voters: 18,001

Total valid votes: 17,649
Rejected votes: 344
Total votes cast: 17993
There was a cancellation of votes in unit 002, Itodo Ward due to over-voting.
