Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike on Wednesday, January 17, said he visited Bwari Area Council following instruction of President Bola Tinubu.
Wike said this during a townhall meeting with residents of Bwari Area Council over the incessant kidnapping and killing in the area.
He disclosed that Tinubu has also ordered him to provide vehicles and other security gadgets to all security operatives in the FCT to combat the bandits.
Wike vowed to make Abuja hot for the bandits.

He revealed that government is doing everything possible to rescue those abducted by the bandits.
Former Senator representing FCT, Philip Aduda, Bwari Council of Chiefs, security agencies, officials of the area council are also part of the meeting.
Public outcry ensued after the deaths of Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar, kidnapped with 22 others in Bwari, FCT, and 13-year-old Folasade Ariyo, abducted with her family in Sagwari Estate Layout, Dutse-Alhaji, Abuja.
Following Folashade’s killing, the kidnappers increased their ransom demand from N60m to N700m, prompting her father, Mr. Oladosu Ariyo, to seek assistance from the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
