Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has responded to social media relationship coach Solomon Buchi’s statement on the importance of marrying a virgin.
It was reported that contrary to Buchi’s assertion that women who marry as virgins experience greater happiness and lasting marriages, Sarah revealed that she married as a virgin and found Buchi’s claims not entirely accurate.
The Nation reported that Buchi addressed the significance of being a virgin in response to a comment on his X account.

Buchi contended that statistical evidence supports the notion that being a virgin contributes to longer-lasting marriages.
His argument rested on the idea that individuals who are not highly sexually active and do not engage in multiple sexual partnerships tend to experience greater sexual satisfaction with their partners, they are less inclined to seek sexual pleasures outside of their relationships.
However, Martins insisted that she got married as a virgin at the age of 19, but that did not stop her from leaving her marriage.
She explained that while married she was loyal and submissive, but she had to leave a situation that threatened her health.
Martins wrote: “Dear Solomon Buchi, I was married as a virgin at the age of 19. I am still a loyal, submissive, respectful, hardworking woman. Getting married as a virgin will never stop you from getting a divorce if the need arises. If e no good for your health quit!”
