Association elects executives

Old Students Association of New Era Girls Secondary School, Surulere, Lagos, has elected officers.

Mrs. Omobola Sadiq is national president and Mrs. Rianat Onigbanjo is national vice-president.

The election, at Lady Koforola Ademola Hall, on the school premises, was supervised by the electoral committee.

Mrs. Sadiq hailed the outgoing executive and committee for providing a level-playing field and a conducive atmosphere.

She said her team would work for success of the association, promising that with other executive, they would ensure that their tenure would be productive.

Mrs. Onigbanjo thanked the past executive as well as the electoral committee for doing a good job.

She said the current administration would add more to the programme of girl-child education, especially the reading culture.

The outgoing president, Mrs. Adenike Bankoke, thanked members of the association for their cooperation, support and love.

She urged them to redouble their cooperation to the new executive, to further take the school to an enviable standard.
