Soulcomms gets new chief at 20

Soulcomms, a strategic communications and engagement agency, has appointed Ugochukwu Uwajeh as chief Operating officer.

With his expertise and vision, Uwajeh is poised to steer the agency’s direction and innovation in communications and event management.

“This not only marks two decades of excellence and innovation but also signals a new chapter with the appointment,” the company said in a statement.

Uwajeh served as group head of Strategic Communications, where he demonstrated leadership, vision, and understanding of the communications landscape.

Speaking at the company’s 20th anniversary, Group Managing Director of SO&U Group and board member ofSoulcomms, Udeme Ufot,  noted Soulcomm was an idea started as a department of SO&U.

Clients, stakeholders, former employees, guests were present. The highpoint was unveiling of Soulcomms’ 20th anniversary logo.

“Soulcomms has been through leadership successions… There was a pioneer chief executive officer succeeded by Yemi Odusote followed by Mojisola Saka. This event is also a celebration of over 13 years of her leadership, and confidence in the busi…” Ufot said.

Saka hailed the company, leadership, clients, colleagues for the journey she experienced during her tenure.

“I am grateful for the journey with Soulcomms as I move on to other interests…’’

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented and passionate individuals in the industry. Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones, delivered impactful campaigns, and forged lasting relationships with our clients and partners,” she said.
