Omobayo Godwins has been inaugurated as Edo Deputy Governor, hours after Philip Shaibu was impeached by the House of Assembly.
The Nation reports Edo Governor Godwin Obaseki named 37-year-old Omobayo Godwins as his Deputy shortly after the impeachment of Philip Shaibu.

The 37-year-old was sworn in around 1:40 pm on Monday by Edo Chief Judge Justice Daniel Okungbowa.
Omobayo’s inauguration held at the Edo State Government House in Benin City.
