Singer Davido has refuted accusations that he is trying to take full custody of his daughter Imade from her mother Sophia Momodu.
The singer is seeking joint custody but Momodu has filed a counter-affidavit arguing that the child is better off in her care.
On social media, Davido clarified his position, stating that he only wants joint custody, not full custody as speculated.

He expressed frustration that his fame is leading to misinterpretation of his intentions.
He wrote on X: “All I asked for was joint custody, but because it’s Davido, you all want to act like you can’t read! SMH… I’m done with this. y’all be blessed and I pray this never happens to you.”
