General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye; General Overseer of BibleWay Crusaders Church International, Rev Paul Tioluwani-Lesekese and others have announced plans to immortalise a grassroots evangelist, the late Rev Amos Akindele.
Akindele died on May 20 and will be buried on Friday.
Funeral Committee Chair, Tioluwani-Lesekese, told reporters in Ibadan, Oyo State, Akindele’s life was worthy of emulation.
He described the deceased as a notable preacher who laboured for development and expansion of many mega-churches.

According to him, the history of new covenant churches would not be complete without Akindele, adding he was a devoted Christian.
Tioluwani-Lesekese said: “Akindele died but his works remain. The legacy he left behind will never die. His work will remain relevant for life. He was God’s general.”
