Leader gets honour

Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) has honoured Chairman of Ibigiga Support Group, Ogun State, Ahmed Ojuolape, with Nelson Mandela Leadership Award of Excellence and Integrity.

Speaker of YAN, Tolulope Samuel, said the group,  founded in 1997, coordinate advocacy and historical research for improved leadership, open governance and development.

He said, Ojuolape was chosen because he demonstrated excellence and service.

“Our awardee has contributed to economic growth and infrastructural development, he said.

“He is committed to quality service. For decades, he demonstrated qualities which have put him above his peers.

“Ojuolape has intellectual capacity, composed, matured, experienced, efficient and cerebral. He connotes different things to people. To men and women of his generation, he is a mentor; to youths, he is  a role model, and asset to humanity.”
