FRSC decorates 174 special marshalls

Ogun State Command of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has inaugurated 174 special marshals.

They were decorated with special marshalls’ regalia after being administered the oath of allegiance by Staff Officer RS2Hq Zonal Legal Officer, CRC Stephen Ichukwu.

The event was held at Gateway International Brewery, Siun in Owode Egba council.

It was attended by Ogun Sector Commander, Akinwumi Fasakin; RS2 Zonal Coordinator of Special Marshals, Solomon Adeniyi; State Coordinator (SM), Balogun Taiwo; Rector, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Adeoye Odedeji; Permanent Secretary, Ogun Water Corporation, Maku and Gateway International Brewery Plant Manager, Akintayo Oguntunde.

Fasakin enjoined the special marshals to be committed, and responsible in complementing efforts of the regular personnel

Adeniyi urged them to exhibit discipline while contributing their time and resources, with submission to authority.

Balogun appreciated the special marshals for showing interest in road safety.

He advised them to be good ambassadors, saying tey should read special marshals’ guidelines.
