Rangers edge Esperanca in CAF Champions League playoff

Enugu Rangers beat Sagrada Esperanca of Angola 1-0 to edge the first leg of a CAF Champions League playoff in Uyo.

The match winner was midfielder Kazeem Ogunleye, who broke the deadlock ten minutes from full time.

It was a wonderfully struck shot from outside the box good enough to win any game.

The return leg will be played in Angola with the overall winners advancing to the money-spinning group stage of the Champions League.
