Alumnae Association 1979/84 set of New Era Girls’ Secondary School (NEGSS), Surulere, Lagos, is to inaugurate a chemistry laboratory, as part of its 40th graduation.
Folashade Jose, chair of the Anniversary Planning Committee, said the event holds October 17/18 at the school, noting the laboratory was upgraded with modern tools and resources.
‘’This initiative is to create a modern, effective learning environment, representing the alumnae’s commitment to academic excellence and its contribution to the school,’’ Jose added.

Governor of the 1984 set, Olubukola Adeyemi, said besides inauguration of the laboratory, a thanksgiving would be held to celebrate achievements of NEGSS alumnae.
She said the event would serve as a reflection on the school’s history and the impact it made on graduates and community.
