Foundation launches programme

Teens World Foundation (TWF), an organisation committed to empowering and mentoring teenagers from underserved communities, has launched the inaugural cohort of its SkillXplore Programme in Lagos.

TWF welcomes 25 teenagers, all on full scholarships, to embark on an intensive training journey in relevant tech skills.

The event represents a major milestone in the foundation’s mission to equip youths with marketable, in-demand skills that align with global standards and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically goals 4 (Quality Education), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).

Founder of Teens World, Kossy Okonkwo, said youths should rewrite the nation’s story by gaining skills that are relevant and transformative.
