Rep empowers artisans, youths

The lawmaker representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency in Ondo State, Otunba Timehin Adelegbe, has launched a major empowerment in Ose Local Government of Ondo State, to support artisans, unemployed youths and traders.

This initiative highlights Dr. Adelegbe’s dedication to uplifting his community.

The programme began at the weekend in Ifon, where youths trained in soap-making, received grants and equipment to start their businesses.

Other artisans and traders received items such as motorcycles, water pumps, hair dryers and sewing machines to boost their work.

The event was attended by community leaders, including Commissioner for Agriculture, Chief Olayato Aribo, who represented Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

Aribo praised Adelegbe’s commitment and urged recipients to support the governor in the coming election.

He advised everyone to vote on November 16, saying: “One good turn deserves another.”

Adelegbe expressed pride in helping his community and promised support.

“I am happy to empower my people whenever I can,” he said, enjoining recipients to stand with the governor in the election and support the progress in their state.

Notable attendees included key All Progressives Congress (APC) figures from Ose Local Government like Jacob Oredola, Chief Ladi Tenabe and Eni Omosule.
