Ondo Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has promised to dualise the Akure-Idanre road to boost investors interest on exploring tourism opportunities in Idanre Local Government Area
Aiyedatiwa, who made the promise during his campaign to the locality, said he would ensure comprehensive development across the council area.
The Governor said his administration was committed to improving critical infrastructure, boosting economic activities, and ensuring the welfare of residents through sustained and strategic investments.

Traditional rulers in Idanre appealled for proper channelisation of the Owena Dam to provide water for local residents and provision of fertilizers for farmers as well as enhanced security.
Ondo chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Ade Adetimehin, assured that the State Government would take their request seriously.
At Aponmu Lona Governor Aiyedatiwa aaid he would address incidents of cocoa farms being indiscriminately cleared.
He promised to focus on protecting farmers’ livelihoods.
