Lawmaker trains youths

The lawmaker representing Badagry Federal Constituency, Mr Sesi Whingan, at the weekend launched Badagry 1,000 Tech Talents Project (Badagry 1000TTP), to train 200 youths.

He said the project was designed to equip 1,000 youths in Badagry with digital skills.

Whingan said the project started with 200 young participants, who gathered at Kemmy-Sam School at Aradagun, in Olorunda Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State.

He said the four-week intensive training course was aimed at transforming them into skilled digital professionals.

Whingan, represented by Mrs Bukola Agemo, a member of the technical committee of Badagry 1000TTP, emphasised the importance of equipping youths with digital skills in today’s economy.

Participants were drawn from the three councils in Badagry Federal Constituencies, which comprises Badagry Local Government, Olorunda LCDA and Badagry West LCDA.
