Irédé: Emir of Daura extends lavish honour to Baàmẹ̀kọ́ of Ibadanland

The Baàmẹ̀kọ́ of Ibadanland and Chairman/CEO of Erudite Group of Schools, Chief Saheed Oladele, was the guest of the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Faruq Umar, today at the palace of the Emir in Daura, Katsina State.

Chief Saheed Oladele paid a courtesy visit to the Emir during his working visit to Katsina State. 

This was contained in a statement issued on Monday, December 2, by Maroof Asudemade, the

Director of Media and Publicity, Saheed Oladele Support Foundation (SOSF). 

Chief Oladele and his entourage were warmly received by the Emir of Daura who extended lavish entertainment and honour to them as they were treated to a sumptuous original Fulani delicacy.

The 93-year old Emir of Daura could not hide his joy and excitement receiving the young and first Baàmẹ̀kọ́ of Ibadanland as he ensured that his guest sat on the same royal chair with him. 

The royal father assured Baàmẹ̀kọ́ of his unalloyed support in his political endeavour.

In his response, Chief Saheed Oladele thanked the Emir and his people for the special honour and entertainment extended to him and his entourage. 

He stated that he was amazed by the Emir’s great sense of hospitality. 

“Rankadede, sir, it feels like a home with the special hospitality we have received here. You’re indeed a father of all,” Baàmẹ̀kọ́ commended the Emir.

Those who accompanied Chief Oladele on the trip included Alhaji Taoheed Yusuf, CEO of Lekan Press, Katsina and Dr Dauda Akeem Babatunde, a senior lecturer at the Federal University of Dutsinma among others.
