Okpebholo woos investors, orders council chiefs to submit statements of account

Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has said his administration would create a business-friendly environment to attract investors.

He spoke yesterday when he inspected facilities at a private steel manufacturing company located in Ogua, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government.

The governor promised a conducive and an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

He has given the 18 council chairmen 48 hours to submit their statements of account.

Okpebholo asked the chairmen to submit the statements to the Assets’ Verification Committee, through the office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), and that the statements should be effective from September 4, 2023 to date.
