Lazio’s Baroni urges Dele-Bashiru to brace for challenges

Lazio Head coach  Marco Baroni still feels Super Eagles midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has a lot to work on to really fit in into his squad more regularly.

Dele-Bashiru joined the Serie A side on loan from the Turkish Super Lig club Hatayspor this summer and he has been doing his best to remain in the good book of the head coach.

He was in action on Sunday in Lazio’s 1-0 win over Napoli in Naples and Baroni while acknowledging Bashiru’s huge potential , still urged him to work more on his weaknesses to be a better player for him.

“Dele-Bashiru has great potential, but it’s clear he has to find the rhythm of the match, the mentality, the physicality and the quality,” Baroni disclosed.” It’s not easy to transition from a different league to the Italian one, where mistakes are not tolerated.”

With the win, Lazio have moved to the fifth spot with 31 points from 15 games.

Dele-Bashiru has 4 goals involvement for Lazio so far this season and Baroni will still rely on the Nigerian to help the capital city club when they face Inter Milan on Sunday in another Serie A tie
