Some 20 female soccer teams aged between 12 and 16 years, are set to vie for honours at the Judith Chime female soccer championship holding in Enugu from 15-26 December 2024.
The female soccer classics enjoys the co-sponsorship of the College of Immaculate Conception Enugu (CIC)Class of 81 Old Boys Association.

Chime, the former Super Falcons’ goalkeeper and Olympian, said the sports event will hold at Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium with some games at the CIC Enugu Multi Sports complex with much promises to light up the yuletide period.
She also hinted that she founded Judith Chime Foundation after ruminating about her journey of passion for soccer which took her away from the back streets of Enugu to the 1999 FIFA Women World Cup as well as to other international football tournaments highest being the 2000 Olympic Games.
Judith noted that the motto of the Judith Chime Foundation, Empower A Girl Child Today, aligns with the interest and core values of her upbringing and the benefits that can accrue from enabling the girl child.
