Youth council gives senator kudos

National Youth Council of Nigeria in Ogun West has praised their representative at the Senate, Olamilekan Adeola YAYI) for facilitating construction of 107-kilometre Ilara-Ijoun- Eggua- Oja Odan- Ilase Road.

According to its leader, Kehinde Olorunjubelo, the council lauded President Bola Tinubu for resetting the economy and awarding the road to a contractor.

The council noted the presence of the contractor at the site, saying the community is eagerly anticipating completion of this project, which will bring  opportunities and growth to the region.

In a statement, the council said: “This massive infrastructure project, which was made possible by Senator YAYI’s efforts in the 2024 Budget, will span four local governments, including Imeko Afon, Yewa North, Yewa South, and Ipokia.

“The road connecting several towns and villages, such as Ilara, Ata, Daramola, the senator’s hometown, Tobolo, Aworo, and others. The project is a boost to the local economy and aligns with Nigeria’s national development policy for border areas.”

“We are excited and expressed our gratitude to Senator YAYI, as well as President Bola Tinubu, for making this project a reality.”
