Company chief empowers community with projects

•Immortalises parents

Founder and President of Masters Energy Group, Uchechukwu Ogah, has immortalised his parents by inaugurating three community projects in their honour.

On December 29, in Onuaku Uturu, Isuikwuato Local Governmt of  Abia State, the  projects—Wilson and Paulina Memorial Hospital, Wilsons Hotels and Resort, and Masters 105.9 FM Radio (part of Masters Communications brand)—were inaugurated.

Masters Energy, inching close to its 20th anniversary, marked end of 2024 with the event that underscored its commitment to community development and nation-building.

The inauguration coincided with the final rites of Paulina Ogbonne Ogah, matriarch of the Ogah family. Dignitaries, including Governor Alex Otti, were present.

 Otti praised Dr. Ogah’s dedication to driving development in the state. Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, one-time governor of Rivers State, hailed Dr. Ogah for creating jobs in his community.

Other notable attendees included Senator Nkeiru Onyejiocha, representing the President; Senator Rochas Okorocha; Senator Anyim Pius Anyim; and Governors of Ebonyi and Enugu states, Alex Nwifuru and Peter Mbah.

 Religious leaders, including the former and present Prelates of Methodist Church of Nigeria, were present with over 100 clerics.

Under leadership of the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Patience Dappa, Masters Energy has grown into a conglomerate, employing thousands in more than 20 subsidiaries. Her leadership has positioned the organisation as a leader in multiple sectors, including energy, hospitality, manufacturing, and financial services.

Otti lauded the projects as a testament to Dr. Ogah’s leadership, noting their significance in improving healthcare, hospitality, and media accessibility. Nwifuru invited Ogah to establish a factory in Ebonyi, noting the state’s readiness to support industrial growth.

The projects symbolise Masters Energy’s legacy of innovation, community impact, and excellence. With over 20 subsidiaries, the group plays a pivotal role in fostering economic growth and creating opportunities nationwide.
