Super Eagles and Remo Stars defender Sodiq Ismail is close to a move to Albanian club FK Partizani on a three-year deal.
Nigeria Premier Football League insider Mike Osarieme (‘MikeThePundit’) confirmed that the right-back, who recently played a crucial role in the Super Eagles B team qualifying for the CHAN tournament, is scheduled to undergo medicals this week.
The right back has been a standout performer for Remo Stars this season, contributing three goals in 12 NPFL matches and netting once in two appearances during their brief CAF Champions League campaign.

Following a successful medical, the Nigerian international will sign a three-year contract.
“Breaking: Sodiq Ismail to Albanian side, FK Partizani. Medicals are scheduled for this week upon the right back’s arrival. The Super Eagles defender will put pen to paper on a three-year deal,” MikeThePundit announced on X.
Sodiq’s departure will be a significant loss for Remo Stars and the Super Eagles B. The Sky Blue Stars are currently in contention for their first-ever NPFL title after narrowly missing out on previous occasions while he last weekend assisted the CHAN Eagles to secure CHAN ticket after scoring the opening goal against Ghana in Uyo.
