Former President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sorrow over the passing of Hajiya Hauwa’u Abubakar, the mother of Labour and Employment Minister Maigari Dingyadi.
In a condolence message by his spokesman, Mallam Garba Shehu, the former President described the late matriarch as “an inspiration to everyone”.
In a telephone conversation with Dingyadi on Sunday, ex-President Buhari extended his deepest sympathies and offered prayers for the soul of the deceased.

Dingyadi previously served as the Minister of Police Affairs in the Buhari administration, establishing a close professional relationship with the former leader.
“Her long life teaches us about commitment to family and community, and a life committed to values. These are lessons that will guide future generations. I pray for the peace of her soul,” ex-President Buhari said.
Hajiya Hauwa’u Abubakar, a respected community figure, was known for her unwavering dedication to family and her role as a pillar of support to many.
Her passing has drawn an outpouring of grief and tributes, underscoring her lasting impact on those around her.
