Club marks 10 years of family, community impact

Masters Mind Social Club of Nigeria has celebrated a milestone, its 10-year anniversary of making a positive impact on families and communities.

The celebration, held in GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, was a testament to the club’s dedication to promoting social welfare, education and community development.

The President, Chester Apasi, reflected on the club’s journey over the past decade.

He said: “Today, we gather to celebrate not just our anniversary, but also the lives we have touched, the families we have empowered and the communities we have transformed. We are proud of our achievements, and we look forward to continuing our mission of making a difference in the lives of those around us.”

Guest speaker, Prof. Francis Iyoha of the Department of Accounting, Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, delivered a thought-provoking lecture on: ‘Managing Relationship with Domestic Workers (A win-win approach)’.

He stressed the importance of building positive relationships with domestic workers, noting the benefits of mutual respect, trust and effective communication.

His lecture provided insights and practical tips for attendees, who appreciated the relevance and timeliness of the topic.

Masters Mind Social Club is a unique organisation comprising members, who are indigenes of Edo State, united by a shared vision of giving back to their communities and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Over the years, the club has supported hundreds of indigent students in rural communities with Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) enrolment. It has donated books to secondary schools in Edo State and implemented other laudable projects, targeting the less privileged.

During the anniversary celebration, a member of the Board of Trustees, Ebhohimhen Vincent, provided an update on the association’s upcoming plans, outlining exciting new initiatives and projects aimed at furthering the club’s mission and impact.
