The facilitator and President of Business Vendor Hub, Mrs. Affiong Ibanga, said  at an event by the Network that her vision is to help women entrepreneurs expand their reach beyond local markets.

She said it had always been her calling to ensure women with small-scale businesses were enriched and recognised globally for their craftsmanship and dedication.

The event was honoured by Mr. Maxwell Adew, a U.S.-based business mogul from Philadelphia, who has travelled across Africa.

Adew described the continent as the future of global commerce.

He reminisced on his trip to Marrakech in Morocco and saw how women were making Algon oil with their hands.

He said: “Africa is the future; Africa is the place to be when it comes to medicine, food, clothing and other human needs. The market is in Africa and Africa needs to wake up and make sure it is recognised globally because of its riches and content.”
