Renowned philanthropist, Pharm. Onuh Okpe has spent his birthday with a community of People with Disabilities (PWDs) in Karonmajigi FCT Abuja.
The celebrator rekindled hope in their hearts while donating cash and food items to serve as succour for them in a challenging economic period.
He acknowledged that PWDs have great strength and are God’s special creation, stating they should be accorded the deserving respect while people of goodwill should also pay attention to their welfare.
Okpe urged all Nigerian to relate and render help to those in need no matter how little they can.
He mentioned that many individuals who are privileged should always seek every opportunity to cater for the welfare of others
He thanked the community Emir, Alh Sulaiman Mohammed and some of its leaders for welcoming him and his team, noting that their prayers and well wishes meant a great deal on such a day.
The Secretary of the community, Mr. Mohammed Dantani, thanked the celebrator for remembering them with such good gesture in the Holy month of Ramadan, stressing that the cash and food items donated were timely.

He added that the celebrator’s down-to-earth personality and respect for the PWDs’ community is a strong reflection of his kind heart, stressing that the community would continue to pray for his endeavours.
Mohammed, while welcoming the celebrator and guests, pointed out that those who remember the less privileged are messengers of God Almighty.
While offering prayers for the celebrant, he urged him to continue in this path of kindness and humanity as such path leads to greatness.
