The Ebira Progressive Association, Asaba, Delta State, has strongly condemned the suspension of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central in the National Assembly.
In a statement, the group expressed deep concern over what it described as the “intimidation and harassment” of the senator, following her petition against the Senate President.

The association criticised the handling of the matter, calling it a “slap on democratic process and a strangulation of the voiceless.”
The group urged the Senate to immediately reverse its decision, arguing that the suspension undermines democracy and sets a negative precedent for women in politics.
“We stand firmly behind our distinguished senator in this trying time. We believe she will emerge victorious against this political manipulation,” the statement read.
