Celebration of Cultural festivals is a vital tool that fosters unity, societal cohesion, economic development, and socio-cultural advancement in the nation-building, of any society, the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Ogun State, Oluwasesan Fagbayi has said.
The commissioner remarked at the 38th Lisabi festival celebration held at the Ake Palace Pavilion, Ake Palace, Abeokuta, themed: ”Back To Land; Panacea For Food Sustainability and Youth Empowerment.”

The commissioner noted that the Lisabi Festival, just like other cultural festivals celebrated across the different senatorial districts attracts visitors and tourists from across Nigeria and in the diaspora, contributing to the growth and economy of the State through the tourism sector of the state.
