Afenifere Innovate Group, Yaba branch, has called on youths within the community to actively participate in the democratic process and shun every form of violence.
The group, during an interactive session and sensitisation programme with its members of the group, said the party was aimed at reinforcing unity and encouraging compliance with party directives.
The spokesperson of the Yaba branch, Mr. Suleiman Mustapha, expressed concern over the growing disunity among the leadership of Lagos Mainland and Yaba LCDA, which, according to him, has placed them in precarious position, hindering the effective delivery of democratic dividends.

“We call on our youths to embrace peace and avoid violence, especially acts being instigated by elements within the local leadership,” he said.
“A divided leadership is detrimental to progress, and we must work together to restore unity and purpose.”
He also lauded the All Progressives Congress (APC) for its empowerment programmes targeted at young people and reiterated the group’s support for the party’s decision to adopt indirect primaries.
“This method is a step in the right direction. It will help curb bloodshed and reduce the atmosphere of fear among party members,” he added.
The Afenifere Innovate Group, Yaba Branch, reaffirmed commitment to peaceful engagement, political participation, and sustained support for the APC and its policies.
