NBGN champions Africa’s economic integration at AfCFTA Forum

The NEPAD Business Group Nigeria (NBGN), under the leadership of Chairman Bashorun J.K. Randle, has reaffirmed its commitment to Africa’s economic integration by co-hosting a high-level business forum on the operationalisation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

Organised in partnership with the African Business Roundtable (ABR), the landmark forum was held on the sidelines of the Afreximbank Annual Meetings (AAM 2025). It signalled a strategic relaunch of NBGN’s agenda and a renewed collaboration with the ABR.

The event convened more than 100 key stakeholders—including senior government officials, private sector leaders, development finance institutions, regulators, and policy experts—at a critical time for Africa’s economic transformation.

Discussions focused on translating the AfCFTA’s ambitions into practical, implementable strategies, with NBGN positioning itself as a leading force in driving Nigeria’s and Africa’s trade agenda forward.
