Akiolu empowers 250 with food processing skills

No fewer than 250 residents, mostly women and youths, have benefitted from a training programme facilitated by Kayode Moshood Akiolu, representing Lagos Island II in the House of Representatives.

The five-day capacity-building programme, aimed at equipping participants with skills in food processing and small-scale catering, is part of Akiolu’s ongoing effort to promote economic self-reliance and reduce unemployment in his constituency.

The Director-General of the Moshood Akiolu Campaign Organisation, Fatai Adeshina, said the initiative was inspired by the lawmaker’s passion for community development.
