The Deputy Governor of Osun State, Kola Adewusi, and leaders of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have resolved their differences.
Adewusi also reaffirmed his loyalty to the party.
This followed a vote of no confidence earlier passed on him and PDP BoT member Professor Wale Oladipo by party leaders from Ife Federal Constituency over alleged anti-party activities.
At a unity meeting held at Adewusi’s residence in Ile-Ife, and attended by PDP State Chairman Sunday Bisi, Senatorial Chairman Akin Famuyide, lawmakers, commissioners, council chairmen, and other stakeholders, leaders declared the rift settled and withdrew the vote of no confidence.

Adewusi described the dispute as a “storm in a teacup” that has now been resolved through the party’s internal mechanisms, stressing that “bygones are bygones” and that PDP remains united.
Chairman Bisi affirmed that the reconciliation was aimed at fostering peace and unity in the Ife Federal Constituency and across the state, while Senatorial Chairman Famuyide attributed the crisis to PDP defectors and cautioned them against further interference.
