Osun 2026: Omisore’s kinsmen, Oyetola’s group endorse NIWA boss Oyebamiji

Kinsmen of Senator Iyiola Omisore, alongside the political group of the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, have endorsed the Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, as their preferred governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The group, Oyetola Consultative Forum (OCF), also inaugurated 1,500 members as local canvassers’ coordinators to secure Oyebamiji’s emergence as the APC gubernatorial candidate.

Speaking at the inauguration, the group’s coordinator and former Deputy Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Olanike Omoworare, who hails from Ife Federal Constituency like Omisore, said OCF was created to support Oyetola’s re-election and to reconcile internal party disputes.

“We are working at every polling unit to ensure readiness for the primaries. We are just getting started. We will train everyone to mobilize within the party so Bola Oyebamiji becomes the flagbearer. We are ready,” she said.

Omoworare emphasized that the APC needs a candidate of integrity without baggage, noting that Oyebamiji best fits that profile.

She added that 1,500 coordinators have been inaugurated across the state to canvass support for him.
