Eminent jurist and retired Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Chukwudifu Oputa is dead.
The family in a statement on Sunday night announced his death at the age of 96.
He was said to have died on Sunday afternoon after recovering from a brief illness.
Funeral announcement will be released soon.
