Recuperating Stoke City forward, victor Moses has revealed that he is progressing well and hopefully will be back better and stronger next season.
The Nigerian international had to return to parent club, Chelsea after damaging his hamstring in a 1-1 draw at West Ham on April 11, an injury which had seen him ruled of for around six weeks.
The Super Eagles winger who gave an update on the injury to his fans on his sportlobster, a Sports Social Network account said: “Thanks for your messages about the injury, it’s progressing well and I will be back better and stronger next season.”
Moses, a £9 million signing from Wigan in August 2012, will be targeted by Stoke boss, Mark Hughes for a permanent move at the end of the season and Stoke are hopeful of reaching an agreement.
Hughes, however, admits he would love to add a big-money summer signing to his stable of attacking players at the Britannia.
He acknowledges the strength of the team’s more offensive-minded players once Bojan and Peter Odemwingie are back in full swing after long-term injuries next season.
But he still wants to add at least one quality newcomer to his frontline attacking threat.
He isn’t sure yet if Moses will fill that requirement by returning from Chelsea for a second loan spell.
“We are trying to get more quality in if we can. There are key areas we can improve on.
“When everyone is fit and well we are not in bad shape in attacking areas, but if good players become available and they can add to what we’ve got, we will try to purse them,”he said.
