Bashir relishing life in Lobi

Abdulrahman Bashir has told supersport.com he is enjoying his switch from Enyimba to Lobi Stars after scoring his first goal in Wednesday’s 1-0 victory over Heartland.

Bashir connected an assist in the 19th minute from another new recruit, Ogu Michael, to beat Emmanuel Iwu in goal for the visitors.

It was his home debut at the Aper Aku Stadium after debuting for the Pride of Benue during the road trip at Wikki Tourists. Interestingly, Bashir played his last match for Enyimba at the same stadium, on March 18.

“I’m excited for scoring my first goal for Lobi Stars and it’s also my first this season.

“The goal remains very important to me because it’s the first time I’ll play in the league since Enyimba came to Makurdi for the rescheduled match day two match against Lobi.

“I was introduced 10 minutes to the end of the match against Lobi and now I have the chance to play again”, he said to supersport.com.
