Sharks FC Nathaniel goes A.W.O.L.

The management of Sharks football club of Port Harcourt has declared its midfielder Joseph Nathaniel wanted after the player was dropped from the Super Eagles camp ahead of the AFCON 2017 qualifier against Chad republic.

General Manager of the club Okey Kpaluku who dropped the bomb shell said other players dropped from the national team have joined their respective clubs in preparation for the resumption of the league this weekend but Joseph Nathaniel has chosen to go on A.W.O.L.

He said with less than seventy two hours to the local derby against Dolphins FC in Port Harcourt, Nathaniel is nowhere close to Sharks camp.

“We are aware that Joseph Nathaniel has been dropped from coach Stephen Keshi’s squad to face Chad Republic in a nations cup qualifier and while other dropped players have reported to their teams Nathaniel has Chosen to go elsewhere,”Kpaluku said

“We cannot tell where Nathaniel is right now at least courtsey demands that a player tells his coach or club officials that he will not be returning to base as expected but the reverse is the case for Nathaniel.”
