Ogunbote dreams about win at Taraba

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) head coach Gbenga Ogunbote has said he is confident of victory at FC Taraba.

The Oluyole Warriors will be the guests of the Jalingo-based side in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 14 clash on Sunday.

Ogunbote also said that his side are well prepared to withstand whatever FC Taraba will throw at them on Sunday.

“Every coach wants to win. That is our dream and prayer in the clash at FC Taraba on Sunday. We need the victory badly so that we can quickly leave the ugly position we find ourselves in at the moment.

“Every match is expected to be difficult, especially against an opponent that just lost a home game to Wikki Tourists. That is not our worry, but we have to get ourselves well prepared for the clash because whether anyone likes it or not the encounter will be played as scheduled.

“I think my players are fit and ready. We are ready for the match and I believe we won’t disappoint on match day,” said the former Sharks and Sunshine Stars coach to supersport.com.

The Ibadan warlords are 15th on the Nigerian top flight log on 13 points from a possible 39 though with a match in hand against Warri Wolves.
